Guinness Book of World Records on International Woman`s Day Celebration in Oman

Oman is setting itself apart yet again in its celebration for International Women's Day on March 8, 2014 at the Qurum park from 9am-10pm with evening programs starting at 7:30pm

The exhibition includes displaying products of international brands along with famous fashion models and fashion designers. The aim is to provide Omani women with the opportunity to establish their own enterprises to bear the burdens of life and contribute to the progress of Omani women. The program includes Omani agencies and talents and designers to display how advanced Omani women are in thinking and working.

 

Guinness Book of World Records has been contacted to bear witness to three new records namely:  source

• Launching the Biggest Fruit Salad Dish in the world, about 6 tons
• Launching the Biggest Abaya in the world
• Launching the Biggest "Orsiya" Omani dish (made of rice and meat) in the world, weighing 2 tons

Worthy of mention that we are the first in the GCC to celebration the International Women's Day to this scale.
