His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, presided over the military parade, which was held yesterday on the military parade ground at the Royal Guard of Oman (RGO) Command on the occasion of the Sultanate’s 43rd National Day. Symbolic units and music bands representing the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), RGO, Royal Oman Police (ROP) and Royal Court Affairs (RCA) will take part in the military parade. Web source
Under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, Oman entered the long-awaited new glorious era which started 43 years back. On this glorious occasion, Omanis' feel proud of the numerous achievements, some still under in the process of being completed, by the Omani Renaissance under the guidance of His Majesty. [May Allah grant him health].
As an Omani I feel pride in my nation and its wise leader for the progress that the country has achieved within the 43years since the Renaissance. As a Omani woman I hold my head high due to the opportunities that were granted to me, the past generations and the future generations to come.
