The Big Box Appeal- big difference through a small box

A Middle East- wide charity campaign aimed at filling boxes with essential items returns for its seventh consecutive year from September 15th to October 15th.

The initiative asks people to give back to those whom need it most by filling a small box with a list of everyday items such as toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, towel and body soap.The volunteers then distribute the boxes to the underprivileged, after being collected at the various collection points.

This year 'The Box Appeal' involves volunteers from Radisson Blu Hotel and the I-Care Initiative in addition to Merge Radio and various international schools. Additional volunteers from Muscat Printing Press, Oman United Agencies, Y Magazine, Al Wisal, Renaissance Services and Gulf Agency Company.


For those of you interested in being part of the campaign you can participate by picking up a box from the Radisson Blu Hotel, Head office of Radio Merge and Al Wisal and the Flower Shop in Sabco Center.
