Corruption not Visa related news

News on Omani (Arabic) forums have been churning over the corruption cases that supersedes the current media hearsay about the Visa ban in Oman. What stifles me is the fact that this has not been announced except for specific media platforms, but no indication in the newspapers or official authorities. It is assumed that the corruption issues is due to the new airport but nothing has been confirmed.

An anonymous comment was shot out on the forum stating (translated) "Why is it for trivial minor cases that you have the pictures and names of these individuals publicised, but when it comes to the big shout you don't hear about it?"
